The RA Process Manager ensures that revenue accounting processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The position involves analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the organization's strategic financial objectives.
What you'll do:
Analyze and document existing revenue accounting processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Design and implement optimized revenue accounting processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including process maps and workflows specific to revenue accounting.
Implement process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, streamline operations, and increase overall efficiency in revenue accounting.
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of revenue accounting processes.
Use data analytics and business intelligence tools to track and analyze process performance and identify trends in revenue accounting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, operations, and IT, to understand business requirements and ensure revenue accounting processes meet organizational needs.
Communicate process changes, updates, and improvements to relevant stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and effective implementation.
Ensure that all revenue accounting processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
Identify potential risks within revenue accounting processes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or equivalent preferable.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in process management, revenue accounting, finance, or a related field, with a focus on revenue accounting processes.
Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and optimizing revenue accounting processes.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in revenue recognition principles (e.g.IFRS 15).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex financial data.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
