A Day in the Life

An opportunity for a Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst has opened within the Global Pricing & Contracting Insights & Analytics team in Prague. This team plays a critical role in supporting business decisions and projects by providing data-driven insights and core analytics. The team collaborates closely with Pricing Strategy leaders across Portfolios, Regions, and Countries, contributing to key pricing processes and projects. The team delivers dashboards, reports, templates, tools, narratives, insights, performance analysis, deep dives, negotiation scenarios, and risk analysis. These deliverables are utilized across the pricing organization and by cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, and Marketing.

In this role, you will focus on discovering pricing metrics and play a pivotal role in driving business analysis, scenario building, and process improvement initiatives. It requires strong business acumen, an automation mindset, and the ability to develop and deploy innovative pricing methodologies. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Own and manage pricing metrics: Develop, maintain, and enhance key pricing metrics to ensure accuracy and relevance across global operations.

• Business analysis and scenario building: Conduct in-depth analysis and build scenarios to align and deploy pricing methodologies that drive business growth.

• Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

• Automation mindset: Drive the development and implementation of automated solutions for pricing reports and data distribution, ensuring scalability and global utilization.

• Stakeholder engagement: Continuously collaborate with the Global Pricing team and business leaders to ensure the team’s output meets the needs of stakeholders and supports strategic decision-making.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and methodologies.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in pricing analytics, business analysis, or a related field.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets; SQL experience is preferred.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred qualifications include a proactive mindset, curiosity, and a passion for data analysis and continuous learning. Experience in Agile environments, Azure DevOps (or similar tools), project management, and cross-functional collaboration is a plus.
