Our Team:

Under the oversight of the CZ/PME Medical Manager, you, as a Medical Manager will lead the execution of medical plans in alignment with global brand/customer plans. By collaborating with local medical teams, you will drive strategic directions and operational implementation, ensuring effective budget planning and resource allocation to prioritize medical projects and studies.

Your role involves strategic planning, execution of medical plans, and integrated evidence generation. Key competencies include project management and strategic thinking to ensure launch excellence and seamless execution. You must identify innovative solutions, act with agility, and anticipate changes in a dynamic environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the operational implementation of Medical Plans, establishing and executing strategic objectives within countries.

  • Lead the execution of Medical Launch Excellence within cross-functional launch teams.

  • Monitor and challenge project teams to ensure implementation aligns with project strategy.

  • Drive periodic country/cluster medical performance reviews, overseeing operations, budget planning and prioritization of medical projects.

  • Continuously monitor spending and allocate costs according to priorities.

  • Serve as the point of contact for the PME team, facilitating adherence to global processes.

  • Manage and enforce medical compliance in alignment with global policies, ensuring activities meet the highest ethical standards.

  • Lead or co-lead internal operational meetings and working groups, enhancing performance and ensuring continuous process improvement and simplification for medical activities.

About you

  • Professional experience in medical affairs or related field, with an understanding of the current pharmaceutical environment.

  • Work experience in additional markets and countries desired

  • Project management skills including planning, budget management and executing complex strategies.

  • Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., MS, PhD, PharmD, MD, DVM) or related degree.

  • Business qualification (e.g., MBA) or project management certification (e.g., PMP®, Agile Methodology) will be an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills; effective in cross-functional and cross-country collaboration.

  • Results-driven, detail-oriented and able to operate under pressure.

  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and decision-making skills.

  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance.

  • Proficiency in English and Czech – both written and verbal.
