As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the production process within our facility in Prescott, AZ, ensuring efficient operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, your role requires strong operations knowledge and leadership skills to guide a team effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook will aid in reporting and communication. Your ability to manage resources and foster a collaborative environment will be essential in achieving our production goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of production workers
• Directs +/- 20 employees in the production department: lapping, polishing, S/E, incoming, presort, QC
• Initiates the planning, assigning, and directing of work
• Follows and adjusts production schedules in order to maximize work
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
• Investigates accidents involving workers; completes the Supervisors Accident Investigation Report Form and participates in the Safety Committee
• Develops or revises work procedures to the companys quality system
• Initiates and follows through on disciplinary actions
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department, yields, and employees
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, as well as assisting workers in solving work problems
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers towards achieving work goals.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
• \'Hands on\' attitude, willing to pitch in & assist workers
• Ability to speak effectively before groups
• Execute written reports and correspondence
