University of Maine System Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (CL1) in Presque Isle, Maine
The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (CL1). This position will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am- 3:30 pm (with some flexibility on either end).
The start wage for this non-represented, full time, on-campus position is $22.70 per hour or the appropriate transfer rate for a current employee within the Service & Maintenance collective bargaining agreement. This position is designated as an essential position requiring the individual to be able to work during periods of inclement weather and/or campus emergencies.

Additional duties include and are not limited to :
Oversee all custodial employees work within their designated assigned buildings.
Keep custodial staff supplied / stocked with paper products, chemicals and equipment to perform their daily duties.
Work directly with Res-life to accommodate all campus dorm hall room turnovers / cleaning / disinfecting and furniture needs.
Assign and assist custodial staff with campus wide office moves and related furniture needs.
Oversee / Supervise all inside / outside campus wide event set-ups such as Graduation, University Day, Convocation etc.
Assist with custodial inventory management and equipment repair related tasks.
Assist with campus wide snow removal needs such as snow plowing, shoveling, salting related tasks.
Manage / set-up yearly campus wide yard sale.
Post / assign all available OT / Holiday and related scheduled time off.
Perform weekly payroll duties such as time entering/ approving time for our custodial team employees.
Perform yearly evaluations on our custodial staff as well as past building evaluations on cleanliness.
Field calls for all campus faculty, staff and student needs.
Manage / assign AIM Work order related tasks for our custodial team.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
Seven years of custodial or grounds related work experience.
Two years lead or supervisory experience.
Valid Driver’s License and be an authorized and approved University Driver based on the Driver Administration Policy.
