Our team supplies 1.0 million m³/year of wood to the Weyerhaeuser sawmill and other wood-using facilities in the region.

Role Overview:
As a Forestry Supervisor, you will join the Silviculture Team reporting to the Silviculture Forester. You will play a crucial role in managing silviculture liabilities and will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing silviculture treatment strategies.
- Supervising contractors in planting, site preparation, stand tending, and surveys.
- Participating in the annual budgeting process for the silviculture program and the annual Forestry Accrual Rate.
- Supervising government-funded contracts.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with Indigenous communities, government agencies, stakeholders, and the general public.
- Silviculture recordkeeping and submission to government.
- Actively participating in safety and environmental systems management.
- Engaging in developmental training opportunities to gain exposure to all aspects of our business.

- Working knowledge of forestry legislation.
- Registered, or eligible for registration within 6 months, as a Registered Professional Forester with the Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC).
- Preferred 2 years of relevant experience.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $81,600 - $117,400 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
