The Hazard Communication Digital Transformation Project Manager will increase the agility of the HazCom processes with digital transformation. Every day our team adds new data and documents in the SAP EHS system and other satellite systems and makes it available to our experts network. This role will shape new business processes around regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability data which is a key enabler for Syensqo in achieving its sustainability goals and ambitions

The successful candidate will be part of an international, expert, knowledgable and dedicated support Team committed to delivering new global buiness processes and capability to our business partners! Scope: global Reports to: Global Hazard Communication Manager

We are looking for someone to:

  • Partner with local business and function leaders; further embark them on the leader-led mindset

  • Be accountable for the deployment of the People and Capabilities dimension in the Star Factory project on site(s)

  • Manage labor and employee relations in the assigned perimeter

  • Support the workstream Team through program design & build, execution as well as deployment phase, while ensuring Business Process standardization

  • Review Syensqo practices and provide advice to achieve consequent changes to the SAP EHS system / Identifying areas for improvement with the stakeholders / Process automation

  • Analyze, design and implement the better way to organize data to ensure more agility in the SDS authoring process or for issuing other regulatory documents

  • Support business and Product Safety members following the new ways of work in SAP EHS and other Product Safety tools

  • Inform, train and create adequate user guides for the users of the new processes

  • Be in charge of SAP continuous improvement and process automation

  • Give advice and the needed support to achieve a successful S/4 HANA implementation

  • Work with competitors and companies through working groups (CEFIC, SAP, 3E…) to find solutions to improve and agilise the management of SAP EHS

You will bring:

  • Support the workstream team through program design & build, execution, and deployment phases, ensuring business process standardization.

  • Review Syensqo practices and provide advice for SAP EHS system improvements and process automation.

  • Analyze, design, and implement better data organization for agility in SDS authoring and regulatory documents.

  • Support business and product safety members with new SAP EHS processes and tools.

  • Inform, train, and create user guides for new processes.

  • Oversee SAP continuous improvement and process automation.

  • Provide advice and support for a successful S/4 HANA implementation.

  • Work with competitors and companies through working groups (CEFIC, SAP, 3E…) to find solutions to improve and agilise the management of SAP EHS

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree in a technical field is required, with a focus in Chemical or Controlled Substances or Management Information Systems.

  • Experience with Product Compliance, EH&S requirements (e.g. SDS authoring and labeling, EHS reporting, regulated substances, dangerous goods transportation, Substance volume tracking, …)

  • Practical experience with processing Product Compliance and EH&S type of data.

  • Proven experience in project management especially in the IT field

  • 5+ years of experience working on SAP EHS (ECC6 and/or S/4HANA), knowledge of other SAP modules is a plus

  • Familiar and able to easily understand regulations constraints and make the link with SAP structure

  • 5+ years of experience in an international context
