Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity in the tax industry in Prior Lake, Minnesota. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team on-site. Your key role will be to ensure smooth operations in our front office by effectively managing client interactions, maintaining records, and facilitating communication.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate client interactions, serving as the primary point of contact for clients visiting our office
• Handle inbound calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate voicemail
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and responsibility in handling client identity and tax packets
• Process payments from clients
• Execute data entry tasks, including updating tax logs in Microsoft Excel
• Manage invoicing tasks promptly and accurately
• Generate labels for mail correspondence
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) to execute administrative tasks
• Use exceptional customer service skills to maintain a positive relationship with clients
• Able to quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls with a courteous and detail-oriented demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving client issues.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to manage email correspondence effectively, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, calendars, and contact information.
• Skilled in using Microsoft PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word for creating, editing, and formatting documents.
