Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director, leading the Strategy & Business Operations organization supporting the OCI Technical Operations (TOS) organization. This role supports SVP of TOS in driving business and technical execution, managing high-priority initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role will serve as a key advisor, lead a high-impact team, and work cross-functionally with senior leaders to drive alignment, accountability, and execution.

The Senior Director will place a critical role in managing customer and leadership escalations, overseeing budgets, and supporting hiring and workforce planning, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, has strong technical problem-solving skills, and excels at managing complex workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Business Operations

  • Lead and manage a business operations team, ensuring seamless execution of key priorites

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP, providing insights and recommendations

  • Drive alignment and execution of strategic initaitives across the organization

  • Oversee key operational cadneces, including leadership meetings and business reviews

  • Track organizational operational KPIs and metrics

Escalation & Crisis Management

  • Own and manage customer and leadership escalations, ensuring swift resolution

  • Develop and implement frameworks for proactive escalation management

  • Partner with organizations to improve escalation handling and enhance the customer experience

Financial & Resource Management

  • Oversee budget planning and financial management, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Work with Finance organizations to track budget performance, optimize spend, and improve efficiency.

  • Lead hiring plans, workforce planning, and organizational resourcing to support business priorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in executive support, escalation management, and operational execution.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Ability to influence and drive decision-making at the executive level.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
