The Utah State Hospital is seeking an Office Specialist II. Do you thrive in an office setting?  Do you have outstanding organizational, clerical, and customer service skills? If you are the type of person who loves to multi-task, learn new processes, and cheerfully offer assistance to customers and associates, we have just the right position for you!  *Minimum Qualifications: *

  • Has experience using software such as Microsoft Office and Google Office features, in a professional capacity. 
  • Has relevant office experience.
  • Will demonstrate accuracy and proficiency in writing, editing, and data entry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess leadership qualities and training capability.
  • Is an excellent communicator.
  • Is detail oriented, with advanced organizational skills and time-management ability.
  • Is customer service oriented, and interested in taking ownership of their assigned duties.
  • Be able to thrive in an office environment.
  • Has some experience working in a health care or mental health inpatient facility.

The Office Specialist II ideally exhibits professional and good judgement within their assigned office at the Utah State Hospital. The ideal candidate can work individually and as a team, performing clerical duties, organizing documentation, and presenting accurate and reliable data. The candidate will also excel in written and verbal communication.
