Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of industrial gases, has an opportunity for a Site Supervisor responsible for our Pueblo Colorado onsite plant with responsibility for satellite facilities in Fort Collins Colorado. Site Supervisors are responsible for all phases of operation of the Cryogenic Oxygen Generator servicing the Rocky Mountain Steel Mill Located in Pueblo Co.
Additional responsibilities will be for all stages of operation of the two Cryogenic Nitrogen Generators servicing Broadcom semiconductor located in Fort Collins Colorado. Ideal candidates will be in the Pueblo and greater Pueblo area including Colorado Springs Colorado.
You will be required to understand all aspects of the sites' responsibilities including safe execution of plant operation, plant maintenance, process and operational troubleshooting, customer interface and communications with a specific focus on leadership and operating skills for these facilities.
Training will be provided by seasoned Operations Technicians and Process Engineers. These plants will have remote access including remote troubleshooting, remote operations, and alarm management while not on site.
To be successful, you must be safety conscious, self-motivated, a good communicator and possess good organizational, operating and mechanical aptitude, leaning toward instrumentation and electrical skills, coupled with wrenching-n-fitting abilities as needed.

Key responsibilities for this position include: Commitment to safety including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management. Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communications and customer interactions. Completion of all administrative responsibilities for the site. Leading all aspects of the day to day operation, including but not limited to: Troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating and performing maintenance activities, driving plant efficiency and plant projects. 24/7 on-call responsibilities for response to plant alarms and shutdowns. Identifying maintenance concerns, developing and implementing corrective/preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC), asset manager, regional maintenance manager, ech support team, and PHG Operations Line Manager. This role is a safety sensitive position.
Required Skills / Abilities: A track record of success in EH&S and Quality. A self-starter with proven leadership abilities. Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the completed execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards. Experience with operation of steam methane reformer (SMR) Hydrogen plants and/or Air Separation Units (ASUs) is a plus but not a specific requirement as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
