Available Title(s): 105G-YNCSNPS - Administrative Assistant 3 Business Title: Administrative Assistant 3 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Administrative Assistant 3, you will provide complex and confidential administrative support for Associate Deans and Assistant to the Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). You will serve as the primary point of administrative contact for internal and external constituencies for the Dean's office. You will also manage schedules and travel for Associate Deans; independently planning, organizing, and prioritizing work; responsible for office record keeping and filing systems and Dean's Office purchasing; and serves as backup for Dean's Assistant. Required Qualifications: • High School graduation or equivalent AND three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work; OR equivalent education/experience. • Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. • Previous experience working with confidential information. • Demonstrated customer service experience. • Demonstrated competency in organizing and expressing ideas in oral and written communication including: composing and editing administrative correspondence and documentation. • Work experience that demonstrates ability to work well as part of a team, interact with diverse groups of people in a positive and professional manner, and maintain good working relationships. Preferred Qualifications: • Demonstrated working knowledge of WSU Business Policies and Procedures. • Work experience that demonstrates an ability to take initiative to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple demands, tasks, assignments, and projects efficiently, and to complete assignments in a timely manner and with attention to detail.
