Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Project tracking / screening in the relevant industry, in India and Middles east region.

  • Market and competition assessment

  • Forecasting

  • Generating opportunities for Process Plant in India and Middles east region

  • Receiving and processing opportunities (enquiries).

  • Feeding inputs to internal stakeholders such as APT, Estimations / Proposals team after initial screening.

  • Understanding exact customer need and problem statement from customer and relaying the feedback to APT team.

  • Formulating the best suitable solution for customer and from organization point of view, keeping all our offerings in mind.

  • Exchanging and resolving technical queries with customer, with the help from APT, Estimation / Proposals team.

  • Exchanging and resolving commercial queries with customer, with the help from contract management / legal team.

  • Accurate Costing, with help from estimation team.

  • Risk assessment as per regulations.

  • Cash flow analysis.

  • Pricing discussions with superiors.

  • Offer submission.

  • Maintaining periodic status update.

  • Handing over to project Management and taking part in Project KOM for smooth start of project.

  • Prepare, submit, and present MIS reports related to Market and Sales.

  • Developing new customers and maintaining good relations with existing customers.

  • Develop contacts in client organization at all levels.

  • Marking stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers in client organization.

  • Monetizing leads and contacts for organizations interest.

  • Organizing customer meets, training sessions with the help from ROs and APT team.

  • Finding, tracking projects from very early stages.

  • Using tools like IIR, Projects today to keep yourself updated.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech – Chemical Or Mechanical. MBA – addon.

  • Experience: 12 – 15 years in Project Sales – B2B Selling process equipment’s / Project Sales/Solution oriented Sales. Industry active – Chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Pharma, Oleochemicals, Petrochemicals, Renewables, Bio-based.

  • Candidates having worked in project environment/organizations involving at least E&P scope would be preferred.

  • Travel: Should be prepared to travel extensively.
