U.S. Marine Corps SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in Quantico, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a supervisory Intelligence Specialist advising the Operations Officer on day-to-day operations for the Task Management and Foreign Disclosure Branch. You will assume primary responsibility for personnel schedules, operations, and maintenance of all equipment and coordination across all staff sections of the Command to ensure effective mission execution of the Operations Management Division. This position is located at HQ US MARINE CORPS in Quantico, Virginia. Responsibilities You will maintain situational awareness of the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) and the Marine Corps Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE) in order to facilitate intelligence support coordination for the Enterprise. You will coordinate with the Command’s task management and liaison officers sections to ensure routing, tracking, and timely response to received Requests-for-Information (RFIs). You will participate in the Command planning activities and project management teams spanning a broad range of requirements from facilities improvement to software development. You will look for ways to improve to develop Enterprise functions wherever appropriate, including but not limited to Enterprise coordination, synchronization, and integration. You will make decisions that impact the resources (people, budget, materials) of the work unit. You will ensure the technical quality and timeliness of the work produced by employees in the unit. You will ensure the Command is represented at appropriate venues available to personnel in the Operations Management Division including supported unit staff meetings, working groups, and video teleconferences (VTCs). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Facilitate intelligence support coordination to improve overall intelligence collection and production processes; Collect, interpret, and integrate complex intelligence and/or operations data from multiple sources to advise senior leadership on impacts to mission goals and objectives and to support decision making; Research and incorporate new capabilities to develop, refine, and improve intelligence processes to increase departmental capabilities and functionality.
