As a Busser, you’ll work primarily in the dining area of a restaurant. You’ll be on your feet, moving back and forth assisting the kitchen and waitstaff, picking up dishware and cleaning tables.

What You Will Be Doing

• Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine, then sort and stack clean dishes

• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand

• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions

  How You Will Do It

• Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating

• Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables

• Cleaning and sanitizing tables in order to prepare for next use

• Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners

• Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table

• Refilling drinking glasses with water

• Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy

• Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day

  What You Will Need

• Must be 18 or over

• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)

• For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language

• Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.

• Must be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop

• Must be able to safely lift dishware, and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

• Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines
