UL, LLC Laboratory Technician in Queretaro, Mexico
Assemble, adapt, and operate test setups for clients, ensuring optimal execution and accurate evaluations based on instructions from engineering department.
Examine simple customer samples, interpret blueprints and schematics, and follow test plans to assess performance. Document and communicate results effectively in detailed reports.
Operate designated machines (climate and vibration chambers) and special laboratory equipment (micrometer, multimeter, vernier), perform routine maintenance, and may assist with basic calibrations.
Communicate with clients to align testing methods, results and/or setups with their needs if necessary.
Propose new equipment designs and solutions for test challenges, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Accurately record and report data on appropriate UL forms to engineering department, offering insights and interpretations as guided by laboratory management.
Follow local protocols, policies, guidelines, and standards for EH&S and Quality.
May perform other duties as directed.
Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Engineering (automotive, electrical, electromechanical, materials, mechanics, mechatronics , etc.).
Previous laboratory experience (desirable).
Intermediate English.
