Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to assist with the operation of Flexo machines that fold, stack, and package corrugated boxes. The ideal candidate will be involved in loading/unloading roles, specifically feeding raw cardboard material into the machine. This position requires the ability to lift 20-40 lbs consistently and a willingness to be cross-trained in various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of Flexo machines to fold, stack, and package corrugated boxes.

• Feed raw cardboard material into the machine.

• Perform loading and unloading tasks.

• Read and use a tape measure to prepare materials accurately.

• Conduct machine setups and adjustments as needed.

• Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.

• Operate a forklift when required.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs consistently.

• Capability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day.

• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

• Experience with machine operation, setup, and adjustments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience.

• Experience in production and inspection.

Work Environment

The work environment is a noisy facility equipped with Flexo and corrugated packaging machines. Overtime is often available, with shifts extending to 9 hours. The facility maintains high standards with all equipment being within 10 years old. Dress code and safety protocols must be adhered to while working in this environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
