JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Test Technician Job Locations US-WI-Racine ID 2024-15186 Overview Element has an opportunity for a Senior Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Designs, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirements Requires little supervision and technical input of a Department Manager, Principal Technician, Project Coordinator or Engineer Possesses the ability to mentor and train technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical data Ability to transfer technical knowledge/requirements and successfully satisfy and meet customer specifications Skills / Qualifications Working knowledge of laboratory safety HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed Must have earned Associate degree in related testing or science field and/or possess 3-6 years of experience in a testing related field In-depth understanding of testing concepts Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed Possess strong computer skills Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus Other Skills and Abilities: Possesses the ability to perform lower to intermediate complex testing Ability to work alone the majority of the work day; only requiring assistance for clarification or confirmation of test procedures Effectively manages time and practices accountability for the testing to be performed Ability to take testing projects from start to finish, completing each step properly Ability to hold team members and peer technicians accountable for the testing requirements Advanced ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required in accordance with customer...
