Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Raleigh, North Carolina and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work Youll Do
Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
50% Travel required nationally.
Telecommuting permitted.
Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
Utilizing Business Intelligence concepts including data sources, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), data marts, and data warehouses, Data Modelling methodologies including Dimensional, Relational, or Entity Relationship, and cloud concepts including Snowflake to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in developing KPI re-ports and interactive dashboards using QlikView and Tableau in the Insurance and Financial industries;
Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing wireframing of the data visualization dashboard and Gap analysis, using Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, including Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress utilizing Confluence;
Developing dashboards with functional specifications, custom development and interface with external systems utilizing Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Snowflake;
Utilizing Git, Jenkins Pipelines, and SQL scripts to build, maintain, and deploy Extraction, Transformation, Data Modeling, and Presentation layers of re-porting-based applications; and
Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status, using Jira, to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Agile methodology.
