Job Description:

Schedule: Mon- Fri

Work Location: Remote with 40% travel

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $93k - $158k annually with additional bonus potential

Key Responsibilities:

Training Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Identify training needs through performance evaluations, surveys, and consultations with management.

Program Design & Implementation:

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses for employees at all levels within manufacturing and corporate environments.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create content relevant to the food industry, including food safety, quality control, and continuous improvement.

Leadership Development:

  • Establish and execute leadership development initiatives to prepare high-potential employees for management roles.

  • Coach managers and supervisors on effective leadership and team-building techniques.

Compliance & Certification:

  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and certifications, such as HACCP, OSHA, and FDA standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications for audits and reporting.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.

  • Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on industry trends and best practices.

Team Collaboration:

  • Lead Team meetings along with 1:1 sessions with Training Leadership

  • Partner with HR, operations, and other departments to align training initiatives with organizational priorities.

  • Manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field (preferred)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the food or manufacturing industry.

  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful training programs.

  • Knowledge of food industry regulations and certifications (HACCP, FDA, OSHA, etc.) is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

  • Experience with e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Up to 40% travel possible
