Job Title: Mechanical Helper

Job Description

Skilled trades workers needed to assist with the installation of a custom designed, mechanized conveyor system. Qualified individuals will be required to provide their own tools. Ideally, someone who has performed work as a millwright, carpenter, HVAC Tech, Repair Tech, or automotive/diesel tech. Persons will have used their skills to move, assemble, dismantle, or install machinery or conveyor systems. The ability to read and execute according to technical blueprints is a must. Candidates must be comfortable with heights and might have to work up to a height of 3 stories. Our team will be working 10 hours per day with an additional hour for lunch, over a period of 21 consecutive days including one day break in the middle. After the 21 days, employees have one full week off at their expense.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of a mechanized conveyor system

• Move, assemble, dismantle, or install machinery or conveyor systems

• Read and execute technical blueprints

• Work comfortably at heights up to 3 stories

• Provide own tools for the job

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and construction skills

• 2-3+ years of construction experience

• Ability to read assembly prints

• Proficiency with hand tools, scissor lifts, power tools, and steel assembly

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a millwright, carpenter, HVAC Tech, Repair Tech, or automotive/diesel tech

• Own set of tools required

• Comfortable working at heights up to three stories in a scissor lift

Work Environment

Inside the URBN Nuuly warehouse in an industrial facility for the URBN plant in Raymore. The work involves 10-hour shifts, with a schedule of 10 days on, 1 day off, 10 days on, and 9 days off. The project will continue until April 2025.

This is a Contract position based out of Raymore, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
