IQVIA Assoc Clin Data Mgmt Dir in Reading, United Kingdom
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this job is to facilitate the definition and implementation of innovation for Data Management within the DSSM ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Take approved conceptual innovation ideas and lead cross-functional teams through the innovation process to optimize operations, which can be supported by technology and automation, leading to transformation of the DM process
Lead innovation transformation initiatives, working with IT, Business, and other Innovation Leads, resulting in successful implementation of new/revised technology and automation to support optimized processes
Define streamlined and innovative standards for each of IQVIA Data Management’s (DM) key core processes, work closely with global business SMEs
Work in Business Process Management tool to set up and maintain the processes and their associated documentation (e.g., review and approval workflows, outputs that are filed to the TMF, etc)
Support business with training on new process or use of Business Process Management (BPM) system
Develop/update/maintain business process maps to reflect the newly defined processes
Work with project teams to develop innovative approach to their unique needs, as applicable
Serve as the innovation "go to" person for business SMEs (e.g., planned innovation, ecosystem vision, etc.)
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough understanding of IQVIA’s Data Management SOPs and working practices
Experience at being in Data Team Lead (DTL) role (5 years of recent experience preferred)
Experience with more than one Data Management EDC system
Highly motivated with the ability to be creative.
Innovative, forward thinker, eager to pragmatically challenge the status quo
Understanding of IQVIA’s business units and their relationship to Data Management
Ability to think broadly and holistically
Exceptional business writing skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to monitor quality of outputs.
Flexibility to manage several initiatives with changing priorities
Strong people skills
High level of responsiveness
Adaptable to rapid change; experience in change management
Solutions oriented, even when way forward is not clear or initial roll-out is not optimal

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
10-15 years of Data Management experience
