Job Description

Insight Global's Transportation and Logistics client is looking for an Azure Cloud Developer for a contract to hire opportunity. This person will work a hybrid schedule out of the Reading, PA office. This team supports external company websites and this developer will focus on developing and deploying customer applications into azure.

You will be supporting existing Azure development efforts and troubleshooting issues as they occur while also developing new software modules across multiple small to medium projects concurrently. You will have an opportunity to lead the design of certain software components and suggest new products, applications and features based on industry and technological trends and advances. You will also consult with process owners in reviewing, interpreting & developing systems in accordance with user requirements. Finally, you will get an opportunity to work with a diverse team and mentor junior software engineers.

Skills and Requirements

5-7 years of experience in the following areas:

-Designing, developing, and deploying high-performant, scalable, end-to-end cloud solutions in Azure platform

-Developing and Maintaining Java-based services in Azure OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

-Utilizing Azure Cognitive Services for natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning, Azure Data Services for storage and analytics, and Azure

-Leveraging Azure AI services for data-driven intelligent applications and predictive Business Analytics.

-Azure DevOps practices, tools, CI/CD pipelines.

-Spring Framework, MyBatis, Web Services/Restful API, SOA, XML/JSON

-Database Design (Cloud, Oracle, MS SQL Server) -Python programming null
