We are seeking a hands-on production supervisor to join our team in Reading, PA . This would be a direct hire, full time position that would bring responsibilities of ensuring safety, leading, mentoring and coaching your team. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Effective written and verbal communication
Problem solver, good listener, analytical
3 years direct supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
Plastics, recycling or extrusion a plus!
Mechanical/Electronic background a plus!
Responsibilities:
Be and expert and point of contact during shift
Coordinate activities on shift and between shifts
Coordinate efforts and collaborate with quality and shipping and receiving
Manage departmental performance metrics
Continuous improvement
Perform employment evaluations
Drive teamwork, be a good example
Maintain proficiency in NAV, SAP, BHS, Wash-line, Wastewater, Pelletron and other key production systems
Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Details: $63,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
