Job Description
The Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of the business operating rhythm, supporting leadership in overseeing operational excellence, key planning activities, and tracking and measuring key performance indicators and critical milestones. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a transformational time for Xbox, helping drive and be accountable for the vision coming to life. You will work closely with a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience, offering the potential to help shape operations and the rhythm of business as a center of excellence within the Xbox business planning organization.
Hard Skills
Minimum 8-10 years experience with Business Communications: Proficiency in communicating crisply and clearly with executives and large teams.
Minimum 8-10 years experience with Agility: Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and the ability to identify trade-offs and streamline processes.
Minimum 8-10 years experience with Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations, including the ability to support and drive strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as business administration, management, liberal arts, or computer science.
Soft Skills
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and operational excellence
Ability to drive the development of key performance indicators and scorecards
Strong ability to work with senior leaders and drive clarity in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Best vs. Average:
The ideal resume would contain experience in helping stand up a senior executive's office including creating new processes and organizational structures. Someone who is comfortable with ideation through execution demonstrating the ability to navigate and implement organizational structures effectively. Experience working with a variety of executives showcasing adaptability and a broad understanding of executive needs.
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 38 Weeks.
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Redmond, Washington and some days remote.
Work Environment
Many days will be remote, but candidates must be available to go onsite to the Redmond, WA campus as needed.
