As a Principal Technical Program Manager you will need deep expertise in continuous improvement strategies and AI applications. You will build leadership skills as you engage, influence, and drive momentum with senior leaders and across the organization. You will deliver measurable impact by collaborating across the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• You will serve as the LEAN Six Sigma lead for the division

• You will identify complex opportunities and gaps across multiple product and service feature areas, then collaborate with other departments to evaluate opportunity, define solution options, and come up with a roadmap.

• You will partner with engineers, architects, business and data scientists to discover groundbreaking solutions. You’ll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.

• You’ll establish benchmarks for success and forge partnerships to execute features within intricate, multifaceted projects.

• You will deliver on roadmap for multiple feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation plan, and contribute to governance programs.

• You will drive continuous improvements by validating research and writing solutions. You’ll also lead teams to partner with other departments to collect performance metrics.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, product development, or tools development

• OR equivalent experience.

• 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• 4+ years people management experience

• 6+ years of Lean experience

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean, Business Process Management Professional, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Six Sigma, and/or Agile certifications

• 10+ years of experience in product/program management

• MS in Computer Science is a plus

• Data-driven mind-set. Ability to mine data and persuade your team using effective analysis

• Experience in leading agile and incremental delivery teams.

• Passionate about Coaching, Mentoring and Caring for the team with modeling Diverse and Inclusive behavior

• Confident, takes ownership, willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done with proven experience leading complex programs/initiatives to successful completion.

• Be a self-starter and a leader that can maintain focus and deliver results consistently that drive business capability value

• Proven track record of driving consensus and actions across teams and job families

• Customer centric, ability to create clarity with focus on the big picture.

Technical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
