Microsoft Corporation Program Process Change Management Coordinator in Redmond, Washington
Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I, the Global Project Controls (GPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft’s cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world’s largest online services.
We are seeking an experienced Program Process Change Management Coordinator to join the Global Project Controls team within CO+I Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). This role is responsible for establishing, executing, and maintaining the Organization Chanage Management (OCM) program, leveraging industry best practices to support Global Project Controls. Key responsibilities include developing and managing OCM processes and policies, ensuring alignment with CO+I EPC document control standards and systems, and collaborating with the Quality & Process Management Lead to oversee OCM across all Global Project Controls processes. The role also involves standardizing process documents, maintaining process change control, and coordinating with operational pillars to ensure consistency. Additionally, the candidate will manage all OCM communications and support related policy and process communications.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in organizational change management and work process management, preferably in the construction industry. They should possess exceptional attention to detail, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. The candidate must also be highly collaborative, self-motivated, and experienced in using and managing Microsoft SharePoint sites.
This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ, Washington DC. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid, up to 100% from home.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement processes and policies for organizational change management to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Lead program-level change management efforts, leveraging a deep understanding of business readiness, timing, stakeholder impacts, and associated tools, systems, and policies.
Support Global Project Controls business processes and policies by tracking metrics to ensure best practices and adherence to current standards.
Oversee governance for specific processes or process components, including documenting workflows, controls, underlying systems, and necessary requirements.
Manage policy, process, and job instruction communications for the Global Project Controls team and assist the Global Program Manager with organization-wide process communications within EPC.
Collaborate with the Global Project Controls Document Control & SharePoint Lead to update and maintain process documentation.
Assist in standardizing process documentation and ensuring consistent organization.
Foster collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
Effectively manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications
Required Qualitifcations:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience
OR equivalent experience
Proven experience in Project Controls and/or Construction Management.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics)
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics)
OR equivalent experience.
Lean, Business Process Management Professional, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Six Sigma, and/or Agile certifications.
Hands-on experience with PowerApps and PowerBI development or usage.
Analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, dive deep into data, and uncover insights.
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and secure support from diverse stakeholders, including EPC commercial partners.
Track record of driving innovation, improving processes, and applying lean principles with a constructive and solution-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Effective technical writing skills with a strong focus on quality and clarity.
Attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Deep understanding of Organizational Change Management principles, work process development, and best practices in technical writing.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple stakeholders.
Flexibility and adaptability to evolving processes and business needs.
Process Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
