About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist position with the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, AMCOM Logistics Center located on Redstone Arsenal, AL Responsibilities Demonstrate weapon systems life cycle management concepts used to plan, develop, implement, operate and maintain the integrated logistical support of the system. Utilize principle methods for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring and managing projects with resources, including technical performance readiness. Identify and analyze problems using sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions while finding alternative solutions to complex problems to make informed decisions. Prepare written justifications and impact statements and presents them for inclusion in system funding documents. Monitor logistics functions, to include the development of New Equipment Training (NET) course requirements and course management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
