Applied Materials Senior Backend Developer in Rehovot, Israel

We are looking for a highly talented senior backend developer to join our unique development team to upscale our software and building the next gen features and products!

Our Group:

Our excellent R&D group develops the leading tools of metrology measurements for the semiconductor industry.

The developer in this position will join the development of our next gen deep learning-based solutions, which takes our product to the next level using modern Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Working in Agile R&D teams, closely with Algorithm, Image Processing, QA, Automation and other R&D teams.

What you should have?

  • Experience in developing complex software products

  • 5+ years of experience in backend/server-side development in Java (using Java frameworks, like Spring Boot)

  • Expert in Clean Code concepts

  • A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent degree

  • Strong knowledge of system software architecture of complex distributed systems

  • A true leader who can lead and mentor developers in their day-to-day work

  • Passion about technology, loves to make POCs of new technologies

Advantages:

  • Experience in implementing AI-based products

  • Knowledge in Linux, Kubernetes and Dockers

  • Knowledge in Front-End technologies (specifically - React and Type Script)
