Sr. Account Director Business Development
At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a global scale. As a Sr. Account Director for Business Development, you will play a crucial role in securing and retaining business for our company through professional, consultative, and proactive sales activities. You will have the chance to work with decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors, positioning Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a primary or preferred provider for all clinical development work to be outsourced.
Job Responsibilities:
Orchestrate RFP strategy calls, develop client proposals, prepare client presentations, and negotiate and close contracts
Make cold calls and client visits to expand relationships and business opportunities
Ensure client happiness through periodic contact and address any concerns or dissatisfaction
Gather data on marketing trends and driven products/services and pricing
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
Previous experience in laboratory services and sales
Proven track record of developing mid- and high-level business contacts
Excellent social skills to integrate with Operations, Finance, and Marketing
Understanding of sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs
