Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Leader with a strong program management focus to lead initiatives aimed at increasing supplier capacity in support of our Gas Power volume expansion. This individual will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives to enhance our supply chain capabilities.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to increase supplier capacity, ensuring alignment with Gas Power's volume growth objectives.
Program Management: Lead and manage multiple projects focused on supplier capability enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Supplier Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, facilitating open communication and mutual understanding of capacity goals and requirements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in supplier capacity expansion and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and reliability in the supply chain.
Performance Monitoring: Implement metrics and KPIs to monitor supplier performance and capacity improvements, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of supplier capacity enhancements into the overall operational framework.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supplier processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
5-10 years’ experience in operations leadership or program management, preferably within the energy sector or a similar industry.
Desired Characteristics
Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and supplier management best practices.
Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in project management and supply chain analytics.
Strong Lean skills to support key value stream mapping.
PMP or other project management certification.
Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $108,800.00 - $181,300.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15 % variable incentive compensation.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
