CTG Business Systems Analyst V with Hogan Deposits Experience in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst V opening for our client in New York.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months, contract
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Systems Analyst V to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting complex projects from proposal through post-implementation. The role will require interacting with business clients to ensure systems meet functional and technical requirements, particularly for banking applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Hogan Deposits system , including sub-product code builds, PCDs, and GL interfaces, and will serve as a subject matter expert in the system.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed functional specifications, test plans, and test cases for assigned projects.
Conduct research and analysis of complex data to ensure accurate functional design.
Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff in application training and project methodology consultation.
Lead functional aspects of complex projects and coordinate project team activities.
Meet with business clients to understand requirements related to application changes (compliance, system maintenance, or business initiatives).
Participate in design discussions, ensuring a thorough understanding of business requirements and delivering clear functional specifications.
Provide estimates for large projects, coordinating timelines and project phases.
Consult on how applications will be impacted by enterprise-wide initiatives, regulatory changes, or system enhancements.
Work closely with the vendor and technical teams to understand project functionality and provide insights for successful implementation.
May act as Test Coordinator for large initiatives involving multiple systems and applications.
Manage functional specifications and change requests to maintain project scope and meet regulatory requirements.
Coordinate post-implementation activities, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and timelines and financials are analyzed.
Monitor risk-related issues and escalate as necessary to management.
Promote diversity and reflect the company’s brand.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management policies, and external regulatory requirements.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Lead and manage functional aspects of complex projects within banking systems.
Collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure project alignment with business needs.
Ensure functional specifications are met and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a key point of contact for understanding system impacts and providing guidance on potential changes.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
Provide mentorship to junior staff members, sharing expertise in system functionality and project execution.
Lead functional teams and ensure the alignment of business and technical teams on project deliverables.
Education and Experience Required:
Minimum of 6 years of combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.
Direct hands-on experience with Hogan Deposits application.
Experience in building new sub-product codes, PCDs, and Hogan Tran Code builds .
Proficiency in Hogan Deposits/FSS GL system and interfaces .
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and lateral thinking skills.
Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on issue resolution.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Subject matter expert knowledge or experience in supporting Hogan Deposits
Advanced understanding of business application systems and integration/ interfacing systems.
Ability to multitask across complex projects and coordinate between business units and applications.
Understanding of Bank acquisition methodologies or relevant conversion experience.
Experience presenting to all levels of management and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50 to $80. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
