Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk based in Reno, Nevada. The role is within the logistics industry and entails maintaining and improving the efficiency of our logistical procedures. Your primary workplace will be in our office, where you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring smooth operations through your expertise and skills in customer service and various computer programs, including ERP solutions and IBM AS/400.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls from customers, providing high-quality customer service and resolving any inquiries.

• Use ERP solutions and IBM AS/400 to manage logistics operations.

• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.

• Process logistics documents with meticulous attention to detail.

• Collaborate with team members to improve the efficiency of logistical procedures.

• Use your communication skills to liaise with various departments and ensure smooth logistics operations.

• Assist in the development of strategies to improve customer service.

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.

• Utilize your skills in computer programs to streamline logistics processes.

• Take responsibility for additional tasks as required to support the logistics team. Requirements • Proficiency in computer programs is required

• Familiarity with ERP solutions is desirable

• Experience with IBM AS/400 is beneficial

• Ability to handle answering inbound calls effectively

• Strong communication skills are crucial

• Excellent customer service abilities are necessary
