Job Title: Registration CoordinatorJob Description
The Registration Coordinator begins the logistics process. This role requires order entry and registration as well as the effective planning, organizing, and management of transportation services. The position plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth operation of transportation logistics.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough records in the proprietary database.
Manage exceptions, review database for errors, and correct them.
Perform routine data entry, including entering new orders and shipment information into computerized tracking systems.
Trace shipments with steamship lines, trucking vendors, railroads, and other suppliers, updating information into operations systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve exceptions, respond to escalation of service requests.
Provide input to team leader and group manager on departmental initiatives and process improvements projects.
Perform typing, faxing, mail distribution, phone messaging, and other office-related duties as required.
Scan and separate documents in Document Management System.
Update schedules, logs, and tasks daily.
Update all operating systems as required, including QA and User Acceptance Testing.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (HSED), some college preferred.
1 year of experience with increasing responsibilities in a similar or related industry.
High degree of problem-solving capability.
