We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk in a well-established company. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be actively involved in handling a high volume of accounts payable and ensuring efficient invoice processing. Your role will also encompass data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy in account reconciliation, and managing ad hoc accounting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments

• Handle invoice processing tasks effectively, including coding invoices and running checks

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable

• Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial records

• Engage in account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all accounts are up to date and accurate

• Take on ad hoc accounting projects as needed

• Commit to continuous learning and growth within the role.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Check Runs is a must

• Capability to handle Coding Invoices effectively

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing is essential

• Must be adept in using Microsoft Excel

• QuickBooks proficiency is required
