Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Richardson, Texas during tax season. This role is positioned within a fast-paced environment and will require a high level of organization and attention to detail. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including the management of customer inquiries and the maintenance of customer records.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing calls, providing excellent customer service.
• Manage appointments in a timely and organized manner.
• Coordinate meetings and ensure detailed minutes are taken.
• Develop, update, and maintain a systematic filing system.
• Handle email correspondence and other forms of communication such as memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
• Assist in the creation of regular reports.
• Take responsibility for ordering office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers.
• Maintain and update contact lists.
• Oversee travel arrangements for staff members.
• Submit and reconcile expense reports as required.
• Provide general support to visitors and act as the main point of contact for both internal and external clients.
• Collaborate with executive and senior administrative assistants to manage requests and queries from senior managers.
Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls in a detail oriented and courteous manner
• Excellent customer service skills with a track record of maintaining customer satisfaction
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Skilled in managing email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and maintaining digital organization
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data organization and computations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for email communication, scheduling, and task management
• Proficient in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Skilled in drafting, editing, and formatting documents in Microsoft Word
• Capable of scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Experience or willingness to work during tax season, handling increased workload and stress
• Knowledge of CCH Prosystem for tax preparation and compliance
• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx, particularly for tax processes and workflows. TalentMatch®
