Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager II position will manage projects and programs, overseeing planning, scheduling, and control of activities independently. The role involves leading project teams of ten or more, handling complex multidiscipline projects, and establishing project priorities. Responsibilities include managing budgets, mentoring other project managers, and recommending process improvements. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $63. 44 - $95.73

Responsibilities:
- Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
- Oversee staff in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring project execution.
- Develop and track project budgets, including cost versus budget.
- Prepare work packages, procure parts, and plan for ALARA, industrial, and nuclear safety.
- Prioritize work, allocate resources, manage risk, and resolve schedule delays and conflicts.
- Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.
- Create and manage project schedules to ensure risk management, progress tracking, accountability, and critical path management.
- Communicate project progress and details to various groups, including senior management.
- Develop and maintain long-range strategies for assigned projects.
- Support the implementation of the Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
- Provide outage support, including OCC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and 14 years of experience in a technical field;
- OR an AA/AS degree and 16 years of experience in a technical field;
- OR a High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of experience in a technical field.
- An advanced degree in a related field of study or business may be accepted in lieu of two years of experience.
- Project Management certification is required.
- RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification
- Construction Management Certification
- Extensive work experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focused on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction
- Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience and work management experience in plant production work
- Knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies
- Experience managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage activities
- Advanced project management techniques in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facilities
- Supervisory experience
- Membership in an industry committee or leadership in internal audits/assessments
- Proficiency in project management and budget process software
- Ability to evaluate organizational, personal, technical, and effective maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and cost performance
- Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to operations,
