Edgewater Technical Associates LLC Project Manager (Tank Waste Operations) in Richland, Washington

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager *opportunity in *Richland, WA to support DOE Hanford.

Organization: Tank Waste Operations (TWO)

*Work Location: *Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. This position may be telework eligible.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Department of Energy Hanford Field Office (HFO) requires general support services for the Tank Waste Operations (TWO) organization in the following areas:

 

HFO requires expert technical and programmatic assistance in the implementation of robust decision-analytical processes of capital projects including the development of decision papers (memorandum), preparation of decision trees and tables, analysis of risks, development of roadmaps and decision frameworks, and assistance in framing, making, and implementing decisions by DOE. Ongoing work is focused on:

 

·       Providing support to TWO by completing reviews of and/or preparing capital project critical decision documents, and support preparation for independent external reviews.

·       Professional assistance in making and implementing decisions to be relied upon by DOE's senior leadership and will be used for obtaining subsequent support and approval via the approval process established and required by DOE's Washington DC headquarters staff and professional experts.

·       Developing documentation and communication tools in the capital project critical decision, Independent Cost Review, and Independent Project Review preparations and process.

·       Mission support tasks for TWO senior management/staff also includes development of white papers and other programmatic documents in areas to support communications to stakeholders.

·       Utilize excellent writing and communication skills in all interactions.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

·       Education -- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical degree.

·       Experience --Ten years' experience as a Federal Director, Federal Project Director/Manager, Federal Executive, or commensurate level private sector senior leadership role.

·       U.S. Citizenship.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

·       Demonstrated ability to work and lead in a collaborative Federal-Contractor partnership approach.

·       Demonstrated ability to independently develop written documents and presentations suitable for use with senior Federal executives and external Stakeholders.

·       Working level knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities.

·       Working level knowledge of DOE Hanford processes and procedures.

·       Excellent communication responsiveness and customer service skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft 365, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

 

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $150,000 and $295,000 annually.
