Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a Finance Administrative Coordinator in the Richmond office. This position provides essential support to the finance team, administering the travel and corporate card programs, assisting accounts payable with processing payments and ensuring smooth operations within the department. Collaborates with all offices regarding training, policies and procedures, and issue resolution. Ensures maintenance of accurate records and control reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Administers the firms corporate card program, including executing administrative tasks to maintain the program and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. 2. Administers the firms travel program and ensures compliance with corporate travel policies, including executing administrative tasks and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. 3. Maintains and develops training for the firm with the travel and corporate card program. 4. Reconciles BTA (Business Travel Account) travel transactions. 5. Assists in managing and coordinating group rate agreements with car rental agencies and hotel partners ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of three years job related experience required, including internships, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or other client relationship-based organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to generate a large volume of work and be capable of making sound decisions in the absence of clear instructions. Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills. Accurate typing, word processing skills and ability to pay strict attention to detail. Spelling, punctuation and use of grammar must be of high quality. Must have strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through both written and oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory. Ability to maintain flexibility regarding work assignments to work overtime on short notice required.
