Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Snowflake Architect to join our growing data engineering team. As a Snowflake Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud data platforms using Snowflake, along with creating and maintaining scalable and efficient ETL pipelines. Your expertise in SQL and Matillion will be crucial in delivering high-quality, data-driven solutions that empower business decision-making across various departments.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data warehouse architecture to support the company’s data strategy.

Work closely with business analysts and data engineers to develop ETL pipelines using Matillion for efficient data integration and transformation.

Optimize Snowflake performance, ensuring fast query times, minimal costs, and scalable architecture.

Design and implement data models and schema to ensure high-quality, accessible, and reliable data.

Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, load, and transform data.

Provide technical leadership to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in terms of architecture, security, and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into effective Snowflake solutions.

Perform data migration and integration tasks as needed to transition legacy systems to the Snowflake environment.

Provide troubleshooting and performance tuning support for data pipeline issues and queries.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud data engineering and Snowflake technologies.
