+ Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in a human services or related field plus 3 years of experience in the area of autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities required; OR Associate degree plus 5 years of experience as noted above required.
- Prior experience working withtheindividuals aged 5-21 with developmental disabilities required.
- Must have at least three (3) years of staff supervisory experience.
+ Key Responsibilities
- - Supervise full and part time Residential Direct Service Providers (DSP) and Shift Supervisors for assigned suites/ homes; - Schedule staff for assigned suites/ homes. - Hire staff as needed to meet optimal staffing levels. - Monitor new hire training and performance. - Complete 90-day performance evaluations for new hires, and annual performance evaluations for residential care providers. - Manage on-going employee performance, including staff disciplinary actions with corrective action plans, suspension, and/ or termination of employment when necessary. - Role model appropriate social behaviors and relationships. - Identify staff training needs and coordinate activities to build skills. - Conduct routine meetings with staff. - Manage the overall cleanliness, organization, and quality of physical facilities for assigned areas. - Conduct routine audits of assigned areas, and students rooms, and take corrective action as necessary. - Collaborate with Residential Case Manager or AW Coordinator for all students in assigned suites/ homes; - Participate in drafting and implementing residential goals as part of the students annual service plans. - Collaborate with school staff on individual student needs, progress, and plans of action. - Review logs and data sheets with staff and plan appropriate actions to ensure student success. - Write quarterly progress reports for students that are related to student data. - Oversee implementation of behavioral plan when necessary. - Assist with programming for students in assigned areas identified as 365.
