Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate various CNC machine tools. The machinist will be responsible for running and checking parts on multiple machines, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC machine tools, including horizontal and vertical mills, and handle some setup tasks.

• Keep CNC machine tools running efficiently and check the quality of parts being produced.

• Adjust offsets and locations, and change inserts and cutting tools as needed.

• Gain full knowledge and understanding of speeds, feeds, and surface call outs of machined parts.

• Adhere to and follow company safety procedures, operating all machinery in a safe manner.

• Maintain proper fluid levels and clean up in and around the machines.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of machining experience or trade school training.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficiency in using common machine shop measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect and qualify machined parts.

• Knowledge of machine shop practices.

• Clear and timely communication of machining errors and corrective actions.

• Ability to lift approximately up to 35 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00
