THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Marketing team is looking for an Media and Communications Manager to join the team! In this role you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to lead the development of Saudi Arabia’s communication strategy and develop and deliver relevant plans related to the areas of expertise. You will be responsible to manager CBRE Saudi Arabia’s narrative and messaging, creating engaging copy across different platforms. You will also be responsible for media relations activities in Saudi Arabia, including identifying relevant media opportunities, writing press releases, building CBRE’s PR infrastructure and proactively supporting on selling into national media and broadcast to increase awareness and visibility of CBRE in the Saudi market.

Project Work

  • Lead on creative copywriting for both external and internal communications.

  • Work closely with the Digital marketing team, assisting them with content creation across different platforms (social media, websites, blogs, etc.).

  • Grow our ability to sell our stories (editorials, media interviews, etc.) to different press and media outlets in KSA and in MENA when/if required.

  • Manage and implement an up-to-date messaging structure for Internal communications, including working on an updated and engaging content for the company’s Intranet page.

  • Supporting media relations activities including identifying media opportunities, preparing press releases, developing relationships with journalists and press in KSA and managing media interviews for the staff.

  • Assist in planning and executing media training for the spokespeople. This process is to be done on annual bases.

  • Oversee Internal communications, including Marcomms Internal monthly Newsletters as well as assist the People team with internal announcements and messaging.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive media list and contacts for KSA especially and the Middle East region generally.

  • Assist with writing and proofreading editorials for leadership, as well as work on creating and executing a blog section on CBRE website, featuring content from our leadership as well as our experts.

  • Coordinate and manage media events such as client evets, press conferences, service line launches, etc. You will also be required to assist in managing any internal and external events in KSA.

OUR IDEAL PERSON IS SOMEONE WHO:

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in PR, including writing and distributing press releases to deadlines (experience in media digital platforms is a plus)

  • Demonstrable experience in engaging new audience through external and internal communications channels.

  • Experience in both creative and corporate copywriting with exceptional attention to details.

  • Experience in securing proactive media coverage.

  • Experience in effectively managing external and internal communications.

  • Experience in managing creation and content for intranet pages.

  • Real estate experience is a major plus.

Key Skills

  • Advanced verbal and written communications – knowledge of Arabic language is a plus but not a must.

  • Knowledge of running creative campaigns.

  • Speech writing, copywriting, content writing and proofreading skills.

  • Knowledge around tone of voice and storytelling within social media as well as media outlets.

  • Knowledge in media monitoring tools.

  • Comfortable with analyzing data and reporting into the wider organization to demonstrate results.
