Amazon Ops Integration Manager in RM, Italy

We are looking for an Ops integration manager to join our IT AMZL team.

As an Ops integration manager in AMZL (Amazon Logistics), you will be responsible for executing programs that reduce carbon emissions and improve the sustainability of our operations. This role is cross-functional, so you'll work closely with WW and EU Sustainability teams, Operations, Tech, Finance and Engineering to identify and implement sustainability improvements. You will be highly effective communicator who is confident delivering at scale, able to deliver key messages and successfully collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to drive action and improvements.

Key job responsibilities

• Responsible for the launch and ramp of on-road sustainability programs in Italy, which will require on site operational leadership during launch preparation, execution and ramp phases. Autonomously delivering on the subsequent projects.

• Drives best practice by working alongside Operations and Central teams to identify opportunities to optimise performance and processes. Develops and executes action plans to ensure the Sustainability goals are met.

• Responsible for a wide range of communications which includes: updates at in-country reviews, managing escalations, responding public information requests, writing and executing surveys and hosting Sustainability Gemba walks.

• Manage a broad range of stakeholders, creating, maintaining and disseminating project information to stakeholders and senior management using common knowledge platforms.

• Creates and reviews training and launch content.

• Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and multitasking.

IT AMZL OI is a dedicated team within Italian On-the-Road team. Our purpose is to innovate, implement and execute EU sustainability measures on a regional level. The goal of the IT AMZL OI team, in partnership with the EU On Road Integration and EU Sustainability teams, is to reduce the negative social and environmental impacts of last mile delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree Qualification or equivalent

• Direct management experience in a logistics, manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment

• Experience with planning, performance metrics and process improve

Preferred Qualifications

• You have direct management experience working in Amazon Logistics

• You have experience in managing projects and/or programs

• Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions for a variety of operational problems

• Excellent communication skills (including local language and English, written and verbal)
