Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our production facility in Roanoke, VA. The successful candidate will manage the departmental operations within a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and direct employees to ensure compliance with production and quality goals, safety policies, and company rules.

  • Coordinate maintenance repair work and ensure equipment is kept in proper working condition.

  • Use problem-solving and critical thinking techniques to improve process and safety issues.

  • Organize production schedules to ensure the maximum utilization of equipment and personnel.

  • Ensure production inventory accuracy, conduct periodic physical counts, and manage adjustment requests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A College Degree (preferably a 4-year Bachelor's)

  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and robotics is a plus

  • The desire and ability to grow within the company

  • Higher education or previous career experience

  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication

  • Knowledge of maintenance, power tools, blow torches, and cutoff wheels

  • Must have at least a 2-year Degree

Work Environment

Work in a highly automated production facility. Training shifts are for the first few weeks (1-4 weeks) on a regular shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. After training, the shift will be from 6 AM to 6 PM on a 'Continental Shift' - 2 days on, 2 days off, then 3 days on, and 3 days off. The work environment is dirty, dusty, and non-climate controlled.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
