Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

The assembler in this role will follow work instructions and SOPs to complete assemblies of various wire harnesses and cable assemblies. These assemblies are used in a variety of industries including IT, aerospace, automotive, and agriculture. The tasks can range from simple wire cutting and crimping to more complex assemblies involving connectors and small server boxes.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and SOPs to complete wire harness and cable assemblies

• Perform tasks such as crimping, splicing, soldering wire to wire, and heat shrinking protective coatings

• Document work in a traveler that follows each job through the entire process

• Work on a variety of assemblies, which may require standing or sitting for the entirety of the shift

• Ensure quality and accuracy in all assemblies

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in electronic or electromechanical assembly

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Willingness to be flexible to work on a variety of jobs

• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attendance

• Willingness to learn

• Ability to differentiate between colors

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean, well-lit, and temperature regulated. The facility is quiet and peaceful, with a positive atmosphere where employees help one another. Employees are allowed to wear one earbud and listen to music while working. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roberts, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
