POSITION DESCRIPTION

The City of Rochester now welcomes applications for

Police Officers

Consider this career with the City of Rochester.

Both new and lateral officer applications welcome.

New officers may have limited experience or they may have recently completed their MN POST requirements to be licensed in Minnesota.

Lateral officers are currently employed as a police officers or sheriff's deputies. They have enough experience to begin as RPD officers and complete an expedited training program. Their salary will be based on their individual experience, job knowledge, and level of skill.

• Possess a valid Minnesota Peace Officer license, be eligible to be licensed, or be in the process to be licensed in the State of Minnesota; and

• Possess a valid driver's license.
