JOB SUMMARY: Provides clinical, administrative, and reflective supervision support, and leadership to the Family Trauma Intervention Program (FTIP) staff. Additionally, is available to provide short term assessment and intervention support to children and families. Represents the Program and Agency interests in the community. Performs related work as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provides direct clinical, administrative and reflective supervision to specified FTIP employees. Coordinates and works closely with Clinical Program Manager and Program Seniors to complete administrative tasks which may include things such as overseeing data collection, compilation and completion of reports to funders, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of all referrals, case assignments and management of open cases. In conjunction with the Clinical Program Manager, acts as an administrative liaison to partners and funders of the program, e.g., receive and assign referrals, attend meetings with funders. Actively participates in weekly individual supervision, FTIP administrative meetings, monthly reflective supervision group for supervisors, as well as supervisory and other Agency-required meetings. Regularly reviews case notes and assessments, treatment and service plans, as well as overall client records to ensure quality services are being delivered and best practices are being followed. Provides clear and helpful ongoing feedback and coaching to staff. Ensures that staff maintain up-to-date case information and client records in the agency database as required by best practices, the Agency and program funders. May provide ongoing clinical services to a small number of children and families as needed. Completes staff performance appraisals within the expected timeframes in consultation with the Clinical Program Manager and HR. Oversees the interviewing and hiring process to fill staff positions as needed. Assists with the interviewing, selecting and clinical supervision of student interns. Provides program-specific onboarding and training when a new staff person begins, and ongoing training for programmatic practices for all staff. Provides ongoing training and coaching to program staff regarding assessment and intervention models and practices. Acts as member of the on-call supervisory rotation and fatality/crisis response team, which includes some evening and weekend availability. Collaborates and maintains working relationships with community agencies as an advocate for the program, for quality services, and for children and families. Attends mandatory trainings, as well as program management and community-level meetings. Demonstrates a commitment to best practice, professional development and leadership. Represents the Agency and its program(s) on community collaboratives and professional committees. Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or a related field with a minimum of seven years' experience working with trauma, children and families; must have extensive experience providing clinical and administrative supervision, program oversight, and high-level attention to aligning multiple programs with best practice. Licensed upon hire. In some circumstances (e.g., licensure changes due to relocation to NYS, we may consider candidates who become licensed within six months of hire. An expertise in therapeutic work with children and families.
