This position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
Pay:
Starting Pay: $98,000 Pay Range: $86,642 - $109,227
Purpose:
This position is accountable for maintaining relationships with our Indirect Auto business partners. It will also include the expansion of the program to areas approved by ESL and developing the new relationships into active business partners. Support the established annual business goals and continue to grow established dealer relationship to achieve the AOP targets and market share for the indirect lending program of approximately $1 billion.
Accountabilities:
Support corporate goals by developing and implementing an effective dealer relationship program to meet or exceed AOP objectives.
Gathers and reports market information to support line of business
Provide local market activity, competitor programs / rates, and auto industry trends
Acts as liaison between dealer and Indirect Lending department on loan applications
Facilitates resolution of member complaints through dealer relationships
Provides timely reporting and projections on ESL ‘s AOP
Work collaboratively with Indirect product team to support business case initiatives
Networks with local auto industry leaders to promote the ESL brand and the indirect auto program
Manages dealer promotional budget used to build and secure relationships
Handle all communication between ESL and participating dealer
Monitors and updates all legal transactions from existing participating dealers
Cultivate and develop new qualified dealers while supporting and growing current relationships.
Identify and target new dealers in expanded ESL market area
Makes formal sales presentations to prospective dealers
Prepare new dealer account agreements, gather all required documents and verify information
Train Finance and Sales Managers on the ESL program and parameters
Monitor new dealer performance and effectively communicate expectations to them on a regular basis
Maintain relationships with established dealer network
Manage dealer network of 125+ active relationships
Assists in collection / loan servicing efforts.
Collects and monitors negative dealer reserve and unearned dealer reserve for franchises that go out of business
Assist in the collection effort
Facilitates dealer buy back of repossessions
Assists loan servicing in perfecting ESL as lien holder or registration information
Assist with outside vendor relationship issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or 4 years of directly related experience required
In addition, 5+ years of successful sales experience in the auto industry
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including internet and e-mail skills
Specialized problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to follow through and provide exceptional service
Working knowledge of consumer credit and applicable federal and state regulations
Extensive road travel required
