The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Regularly provides routine technical support for research activities and/or laboratory support. Applies full range of experience and previous job knowledge; frequently adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet specialized needs. Assists with the design of new experiments, multimedia sampling, maintenance, operation and calibration of scientific monitoring equipment for research projects. Responsible for general data collection and assisting with analysis, recruiting participants, and may support and assist other technicians.Responsibilities Position Summary: This Tech III position will be responsibility for oversight of the laboratory's research rodent colony, will conduct recovery surgery in rodents, and will isolate rodent tissues for molecular biology and biomechanical testing. Specific Responsibilities: - Maintain the laboratory research rodent colony, including electronic inventory. - Perform rodent recovery surgery. - Isolate rodent tissues for molecular biology and histological analyses. - Isolate rodent tissues for biomechanical analyses. - Maintain a detailed laboratory notebook, conduct routine data analysis and interpretation.
